Summary
The Quality Assurance Supervisor supports the Quality Assurance Manager and Quality organization by supervising a variety of inspection tasks related to product assurance, as well as quality system and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, or quality, preferably in an aerospace Repair Station or Manufacturing environment. Minimum 5 years’ inspection experience including use of blueprints and inspection equipment (scales, calipers, etc.). Experience in the inspection and certification of Production parts is preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills required, including multiplication, division, etc. Ability to work with fractions decimals as it relates to blueprint reading and specification interpretation.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills, (MS Office, etc.). Previous MRP experience is helpful.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
A&P License or certification as an FAA Repairman or the ability to obtain certification in a timely manner is required.
Other Skills and Abilities
Leadership and training skills as necessary to help direct and coach other inspectors on proper procedures and inspection methods. Blueprint reading and interpretation.
