Summary
The Decorative Laminate Technician is directly responsible to the Operations Manager. The Decorative Laminate Technician is responsible for the timely and efficient maintenance, repair, and overhaul in the Repair Department and to assist in the manufacturing assemble department when necessary.

Education and/or Experience
High school or equivalent.
Previous experience applying laminates and vinyl’s including tuck and roll to decorative surfaces is required. Previous experience working with upholstery, fabrics and leather is preferred. Familiarity installing various inserts/hardware by drilling and boring, edge potting, bevel, and chamfer edges. Previous experience with interior aircraft components, marine interiors or upholstery seat shops is beneficial.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Basic Arithmetic abilities.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to read drawings and attention to detail.
Computer Skills
Basic computer skills (MS Office, etc.).
