Summary
The Receiving Warehouse Associate supports the Warehouse and Materials Department by receiving incoming products and performing a variety of inspection tasks related to product assurance, as well as quality system and regulatory compliance. Employees in this area handle a variety of materials, products and specifications within Shipping, Finished Goods, Regulatory and Quality Compliance. Parts and Materials may be expensive, fragile or hazardous in some cases. Receiving Associates are critical to the supply chain process and continuing support of the organization. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager but may have some oversight from the Quality Manager.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, or quality, preferably in an aerospace environment. Previous experience in use of blueprints. Understanding of packaging for protection. Ability to understand drawings and interpret regulations.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Mathematical Skills
Basic math skills required, including multiple, division, etc. Ability to work with fractions decimals as it relates to blueprint reading and specification interpretation.
Reasoning Ability
Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Computer Skills
Intermediate computer skills are necessary for the position. Knowledge of the ERP flow down used in an organization is helpful, but workers may learn on the job. Knowledge of ERP system. Three years of progressive experience with Microsoft Office.
