Summary
Work as part of a team (and periodically as team project leader) to perform engineering tasks associated with the design of new interior components, the refurbishment of overhauled interior components, and the engineering to support aircraft interior reconfiguration projects.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Engineering field of study (i.e. Design, Manufacturing, Stress, etc.) or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in growth role to supervisory experience within an aerospace (i.e. manufacturing, MRO, engineering) work environment preferred.
Computer Skills
Experience using Solidworks.
Experience using My Boeing Fleet and Airbus One World.
Experience using MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Experience with Solidworks PDM.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
Experience with Lean or Six Sigma desired.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Reasoning Ability
Experience analyzing design tasks and solutions relative to design for manufacturability and design for cost.
Ability to work in a cross functional team and understand internal stakeholder needs and adapt work and deliverables to best meet those needs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
